Jeff’s ALFA 2012 – Takeaway #2
As part of ALFA’s Senior Living Leadership Forum, I attended the annual meeting of the President’s Council. This meeting allowed ALFA to update Council members about highlights from the past fiscal year, items to be focused on for the upcoming year, and the general state of senior living. ALFA’s public policy initiatives were also reviewed; one of their strategic goals is to increase efforts to influence state laws and regulations in order to promote and protect senior living.
I was very impressed with the content of the program and the way in which the presentation was organized. Congratulations to ALFA’s President, Rick Grimes, for his part in such a successful event.
